A crowd at the 2005 Trade Show at Laurel Park
Chambers Annual Government Procurement Fair held in October provided the attendees the opportunity to network with 100+ local, state and federal government agencies
In April 2005 the BWCC, with help from the Howard Chamber of Commerce and Network Referral Group (NRG), held its annual Business to Business Tradeshow.
In 2004 our President, Walt Townshend, received an award from MACCE as an outstanding Chamber Executive.
The BWCC fields an impressive list of active committees. Pictured here is the Women in Business (WIB) Committee Chaired by Rhonda Tomlinson of Enterprise Systems Solutions. The BWCC's WIB supports women in business through education and networking. Meetings take place on the 2nd Friday of each month at varying locations.
In August 2005 The BWCC held its Joint Networking Breakfast at the Maritime Institute. Involving a half dozen chambers and networking organizations and attracting 200+ attendees; this breakfast is an event that should not be missed.
In February 2004 the BWCC Foundation held its Annual Dinner event. The proceeds from this event go toward funding the BWCC Foundations scholarships, which are awarded to deserving high school students in the Baltimore/Washington Corridor.
